  • Attandance to the mLife events requires full payment of the registration fee and/or confirmation from the mLife organisation.
  • All regsitration, exhibiting and sponsorship are subject to terms below.
  • mLIfe organisation will not be liable for damage or loss to an attandees, exhibitor, or sponsor's properties through fire, theft, accident, or any other cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise.
  • All participants shall take part in the conference and all events in relation to the conference at their own risk. Oral agreements shall not be binding if these have not been confirmed in writing by mLIfe Organisation.
  • mLIfe Organisation will collect and store all personal data for the preparation and execution of the events and data will not be passed on to third parties without the explicit agreement of the participant.
  • mLIfe Organisation reserves the rights to revise these terms.
 
 Registration terms :
 
  • Conference registration includes attendance to all conference sessions, panels and tutorials as appropriate, one copy of conference proceedings, ticket to the conference dinner, lunches during conference days, and coffee breaks
  • Accommodation - Delegates are recommended to arrange their own accommodation directly with the conference venue. mLife events negotiated a discounted fee on behalf of mLife event attendees. Please see accommodation page for further info.
  • To benefit from the discounted price the payment must reach us on or before May 1st 2008
  • Authors registration deadline: Payments should be received by June 1st, 2008
  • Change & Cancellation Policy: Requests for refund must be made in writing and any re-funds will be made after the event: 80% of the fees paid will be refunded for the requests made at least 90 days before the event; and 50% of the fees will be refunded for the requests there after and at least 30 days before the event; no refunds there after. Any changes to the registration is subject to £20 administration fee.

Sponsorship Terms
 
  • Sponsorships are considered as donnations and financial support for the mLife organisation.
  • Various sponsorship packages (please request a copy) define the responsibilities of the mLIfe organization to the sponsors. Sponsoring companies need prior confirmation from mLIfe organisation for any additional sponsorship activities and must agree to cover any relevant additional costs.
  • Any written notification of intent to sponsor an event or item will be considered a definite commitment and it may not be cancelled.
  • The sponsoring company agrees to pay the published sponsorship fee in full prior to the conference - within 30 days of receipt of acceptance.
  • All sponsor fees are due with the order form. Sponsorships may not be re-funded.
  • Sponsorship costs are designed to lessen the financial burden of the sponsored item and do not necessarily reflect the total cost of the sponsored event, activity or item.
  • The sponsor agrees not to extend invitations, call meetings, host hospitality events or otherwise encourage the absence of attendees from the Halls during the hours of conferences.
  • To achieve maximum exposure and to receive full sponsorship benefits, please reserve your sponsorship as quickly as possible, but at least six weeks before the conference.
  • All sponsorship materials must be submitted 4 weeks before the event to ensure inclusion in productions schedule. Sponsorship pledges after this date may still be accepted with caveats.
  • All sponsorships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsors need to be committed to computer security improvement, concerned about the security infrastructure of the Internet and associated communications elements and be supportive of mLife Organization's mission to participate in this conference as a sponsor. mLIfe Organization retains the right to reject any sponsor that it deems inappropriate.
  • Sponsorships are normally offered on a non-exclusive basis. The same package may be offered to various sponsors.
 
Exhibition Terms
 

 

  • The word 'EXHIBITOR' means the person, company, firm or other organisation to whom space at the Exhibition has been allocated by the mLIfe Organisers and, in relation to any term or condition, shall include employees, contractors, sub-contractors, servants, agents, licensees or invitee of the Exhibitor. The word 'EXHIBITION' means 'EXHIBITION at the mLife Events. The word 'ORGANISERS' means 'mLIfe Organisation ’
  • Application for booth space must be made on the Booth Application Form provided by the Organisers. The Organisers shall have the right to allocate space to the Exhibitor, re-arrange the floor plan, and/or relocate any booth at any time before or during the period of the Exhibition. The Organisers shall reserve the right to refuse any application.
  • The fees for the exhbition must be paid in full within 30 days of acceptance of the application or prior to the event which ever is closer.
  • The charge for booth space is calculated on the basis of a minimum of 9 square metres. The price per square metre (net of tax) is shown on the Booth Application Form and in the Exhibition Prospectus. Additional requirements may be obtained on request to the Organisers and will incur additional charges. It is essential that the Organisers be advised of these requirements as early as possible and not later than 28 July 2006.
  • Payments must be made by bank transfer in UK pounds. All the Organisers’ charges are exclusive of any applicable Value Added Tax, for which the Exhibitor shall be additionally liable.
  • The Organisers shall have the right to refuse to permit the Exhibitor to occupy or use the booth until all sums due to the Organisers from the Exhibitor have been paid.
  • Notice of cancellation of allocated booth space must be given to the mLIfe Organsiation in writing at the address on the Booth Application Form. If 30 days prior to the event a cancellation charge of 20% of the total charge for the booth will be made and a refund of any charges already paid in excess of this amount will be made to the Exhibitor. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the event.
  • The Organisers shall be entitled to alter the layout if, in their opinion, this is in the general interest of the Exhibition.
  • The Exhibitor will be notified of the hours of installation of exhibits, removal of exhibits and the official opening hours of the Exhibition in the Exhibitor’s Manual. All booths must be complete and ready for inspection one hour prior to the official opening time. All Booths must be open for viewing and staffed during the official opening hours. Removal of exhibits and dismantling of booths may not commence until the official closing time of the Exhibition. The Exhibitor shall remove by the time stated in the Exhibitor’s Manual all exhibits, displays, booth fittings, materials and other items brought into the Exhibition Hall by the Exhibitor.
  • Upon being required to do so by the Organisers, the Exhibitor shall cease to employ at the Exhibition any servant or agent of the Exhibitor who shall be guilty of any conduct, which in the opinion of the Organisers, is prejudicial to the proper management of the Exhibition.
  • The Organisers shall not be liable for any claims arising from death or bodily injury or damage to property arising in connection with the erection and dismantling of the Exhibitor's booth and anything permitted, omitted or done thereon or therefrom during the period of the Exhibition or the construction and dismantling periods caused directly or indirectly by the Exhibitor or any contractor, sub-contractor, servant, agent, licensee or invitee of his or the act, omission or neglect of any such person or by any exhibit, machinery, or other article of the Exhibitor or in the possession of or use of the Exhibitor or any servant or agent of his. The Exhibitor will indemnify the Organisers in respect of each and every such claim and all actions, proceedings, costs, claims and demands in respect thereof.
  • The Organisers do not accept responsibility for any theft, loss or damage from any cause whatever, in respect of any property brought to the Exhibition premises by the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor releases from and indemnifies the Organisers against any liabilities in respect of any loss or damage to the exhibits or any other property brought and the Exhibitor shall effect insurance on a full 'All Risks' basis for a sum insured equivalent to the full value of all exhibits and other property brought to the Exhibition.
  • If the Exhibitor, should fail to remove all his property or otherwise fail to vacate the Exhibition premises by the official move-out time, due to any cause whatsoever, the Exhibitor shall be fully responsible for any penalties imposed. The Organisers will remove and may then store any property of the Exhibitor left at the Exhibition Hall by the Exhibitor after the said time and the Exhibitor shall be liable for the costs of such removal and storage and any other incidental costs incurred by the Organisers or their agents. Any such removal and storage will be at the risk of the Exhibitor
